The Medical Director Fee is structured as a tier system to allow the injector time to establish themselves in the aesthetic industry while also building their clientele. For the first 6 months, the medical director fee is $150 and every 6 months the fee increases by $50 capping off at $350 a month. The Medical Director Fee is due on the 1st of every month with a 3 day grace period. Invoices are emailed on the 15th of every month with a reminder email 3 days prior to due date.

A $25 late fee will be added to the Medical Director Fee and client’s contract will enter termination review. If Medical Director Fee (including late fee) is not paid within 7 days, client’s contract will be terminated.

An invoice will be sent with the email address to Zelle payments or the option to complete payment via Quickbook link.

The medical director contract is renewed on the 1st of every month once the medical director fee is received.

If client wants to terminate the Medical Director contract, an email must be sent 30 days prior to next scheduled Medical Director Fee. A termination contract will be drafted and signed by both parties. Client will immediately remove Medical Director from malpractice insurance and provide a copy of updated policy. Client will remove medical director from all accounts (pharmacies, supply companies, tox/filler companies, etc.)

If client wants to change their medical director, a medical director change request must be sent 30 days prior to next renewal cycle.

A medical director can oversee several employees. If a medical director is needed for a medspa or aesthetics clinic, a contract will be needed for the medspa/aesthetics clinic as well as a separate contract for each employee. A distinct fee will be assessed for each employee, in addition to a separate fee applicable to the medspa or aesthetics clinic. Contact us for further information and pricing.

In Illinois, Registered Nurses (RNs) can perform aesthetic treatments like Botox injections, but only under the direct supervision of a physician or full practice authority nurse practitioner. This means a physician or qualified nurse practitioner must be involved in the initial assessment and treatment plan, and they can then delegate the procedure to a qualified RN. Other aesthetic procedures, such as chemical peels and microneedling, also require physician or qualified nurse practitioner oversight and delegation to qualified personnel.

In Illinois, a nurse practitioner who has not achieved full practice authority is required to have a medical director to provide aesthetic treatments. A physician’s assistant does require a medical director to perform aesthetic treatments.
